Sheila Troxel is a lifelong resident of Richland County where she grew up on a dairy farm near Sabin, WI. In 1978 she had the wonderful opportunity of being hired by Warren Wallace, Willis Cooper, and Bob Elliott and began her career with Wallace, Cooper & Elliott Insurance. Sheila is a licensed agent in property, casualty, health, and life. In 1989 Sheila, along with business partner, Mike Edwardson, purchased the agency and ran it together until Mike's retirement in May of 2010 due to health complications and she became the sole owner of the agency. After 50 plus years at the same location Sheila and the staff decided to move their offices to the busy corner of 197 S. Main Street in downtown Richland Center where they are currently located.

​Sheila has two sons.  Andrew is a social studies teacher and head football coach at Richland Center High School.  He and his wife Jillian, a physical therapist, have two children, Rosalynn and Liam.  Aaron and his wife, Kathy, live in DeForest and are owners of Trox-Box and Elusive Escape Rooms and have three children, Alayna, Sadie and Graham.

Sheila is passionate about the community and therefore volunteers and supports many worthwhile community projects. She has served on many different boards and encourages and allows her staff to participate in any projects in the community that they wished to be a part of. She contributes the success of the agency to the amazing and talented staff she has. She is very proud to call Richland Center home.

Jeremy Kooi is originally from Muskegon, MI and currently lives in Mineral Point, WI.  He is the proud father of a son (Mason) and a daughter (Avery). A self-proclaimed “insurance geek,” Jeremy enjoys helping people navigate their way through the
complexities of their policies and is constantly educating himself on what’s new in the industry.

 

Jeremy has been an insurance agent for 17 years and spent the first half of his career focused on training and team-building, throughout the state of Wisconsin, for the leading voluntary benefits carrier in the US. In 2015, he moved on to become a full-
time employee benefits broker in Southwest, WI focusing on strategic plan designs and employee education. “Families spend a large part of their budget on health insurance and I’m committed to helping them understand their plan options.”

 

“At the end of 2016, I knew I was ready to change my focus to P&C.” Since joining Wallace, Cooper & Elliott in July of 2018, Jeremy has focused on partnering with businesses to help them with their commercial insurance needs. “When I was in
college, I knew I wanted to work in business but never would’ve imagined it would be in insurance. Working with business owners and having strategic conversations about growing their business is why I do what I do. It’s a great feeling to know that I can help others while protecting their dream.”

 

During his insurance career, Jeremy has been mentored by some of the most knowledgeable, ethical, and customer-focused people in the industry. Jeremy has a clear vision for the future of the insurance industry and is excited to be part of Wallace, Cooper & Elliott to make that vision a reality.

 

In his spare time, Jeremy serves on the Richland Hospital Foundation Board, enjoys golfing along with spending time outdoors camping, hunting and fishing with his family. 

Pat Elliott is a lifelong resident of Richland County. He began his insurance career with Wallace, Cooper & Elliott in 1992. He is licensed in property, casualty, life, and health. In his spare time, Pat likes to hunt, play softball, and is an Assistant Coach for the Richland Center Girls High School Basketball team which he has done since 2000. Pat was named the 2011 WBCA Assistant Coach of the Year. He has also served many years as the President of the Richland Center Park's committee. Pat and his wife, Donna, live in Richland Center and love spending time with their three grandchildren.

Casey Peterson is originally from Clintonville, Wisconsin.  She moved to Madison, WI to attend college at UW-Madison and graduated with a double major in Communications and Social Psychology. Casey was married in May of 2014 and she and her husband, Todd currently live in Cross Plains, Wisconsin. Casey and her husband, along with yellow lab Timber, enjoy traveling,
boating, snorkeling, and time with family and friends. She is an avid deep-sea fisherwoman, both inshore and offshore, and does most of that when she vacations in the Florida Keys. Casey enjoys being physically active, biking, eating out and trying new things. 
          Professionally, Casey has been in the insurance industry since 2004. She started with Dean Health Plan in Madison, WI as a Customer Service Representative and moved into the sales department in 2006. She finished her career with Dean Health Plan as the Individual & Family Plan Account Executive. In 2014, she made a career change and moved from the carrier
side to the independent agent profession joining the team at Wallace, Cooper & Elliott Insurance Agency. Since 2014, Casey has focused on helping large employer groups (50 or more employees) to find solutions to their employee benefit programs. She has worked with employers in both the private and public sectors of business ranging from 50 employees to well over 300. Casey is currently licensed in health, life, property, casualty, and disability insurance. When Casey is not helping people with their insurance needs she has volunteered on the Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (Past President), the Cross Plains Ambassador Committee, the Cross Plains World's Fair Committee, and the Legacy Endowment committee at her church. She believes in giving back to the communities that she serves. 

Sirena Tukiendorf was born and raised in the small town of Viola, Wisconsin where she attended Kickapoo High School. She received her Associate's Degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Richland. She began her insurance career five years ago and is licensed in property, casualty, life, and health. Sirena and her husband, Adam are the proud parents of their daughter Harper and son Hudson. They enjoy being outdoors, cooking, and working on home projects together. Mostly they love traveling to new places and spending time with friends and family as much as possible.

Mary Ewing is a lifelong resident of Richland County. She is married to her childhood sweetheart, Ron, and they have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time at the lake with family and friends and keeping up with the family farm.  She was an honors graduate of RCHS, Viterbo College and UW Platteville with degrees in Music Education and Business Administration. She was a teacher at St Mary’s school and taught private instrumental music lessons for several years. She has also worked in the dairy industry for over 30 years, holding many different positions, including Health Insurance and Benefits Management, Quality Control, Supply Chain Management and Strategic Planning. She is licensed in Health, Life, Property and Casualty and looks forward to helping as many people as possible with their insurance needs.

Brodie Tyler is a lifelong resident of Richland Center. After graduating from UW-Platteville with a degree in Business Administration, he returned to Richland Center to begin his insurance career in 2014. Brodie is licensed in Life, Health, Property, and Casualty. He serves on the  Rotary Foundation of Richland County, Inc. , The Richland Hospital Foundation Board, The Schmitt Woodland Hills Golf Outing Planning Committee, and the Walk With Grace Logistics Committee.  In his free time, Brodie enjoys a variety of sports, photography, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Deb grew up in Richland Center and has been an agent for Wallace Cooper & Elliott since 2001. She is licensed to sell property and casualty insurance. Deb and her husband Jeff who is a retired Richland school district teacher have 2 children, Stefani (Adam) Geurts and Tony (Charlene) Fontana along with 6 grandchildren. They love spending time with their family and especially enjoy time spent together boating and fishing on the Mississippi River. 

 

Deb along with Wallace, Cooper & Elliott takes great pride in partnering with our local Kiwanis Club for the annual Coats for Kids project. Each year the Kiwanis club provides close to 300 warm coats, hats, gloves and mittens to families in need. Deb cares deeply for the children of Richland Center and is honored to be a part of this worthwhile event. She feels one of the best parts of her job at Wallace Cooper & Elliott is the customer service side and getting to meet with so many wonderful people of our area. 

Sonja McCaskey is a lifelong resident of Richland Center, graduating with Honors from Richland Center High School in 1983. After having children and working as a substitute teacher's aide and substitute school secretary in the Richland School District, she began her career in the insurance profession in 1996 with Nelson & Beggs Insurance Agency (which is now Schwarz Insurance Agency Inc., headquartered in Prairie du Sac, WI). With nearly 20 years of experience as a state licensed insurance agent in the Property & Casualty field, Sonja brings to our agency a wealth of dedicated excellence in guiding clients in their decision to best protect their assets and personal property.  

​Sonja and her husband, Michael, have been married over three decades. Michael is owner/operator of their family farm just west of Richland Center. They have three adult daughters that all live nearby. Any free time is spent enjoying time with their daughters, son-in-laws, and spoiling their grandchildren.

Stacey Olson is a lifelong resident of Richland County and a graduate of Richland Center High School and the University of Wisconsin Center Richland with an Associate degree. She had worked locally as an agent in the insurance field for 11 years before making the decision to go full time in their family business, Darrell Olson Trucking.  She started working with Wallace, Cooper & Elliott Insurance in August, 2014.  Stacey is a versatile agent and is licensed in property and casualty insurance.  She is Mom to 4 children, Kyle, Kaleb, Keegan, and Emily. When not working she enjoys traveling, walking, yoga, and working in her yard.

Carol Strang moved from Rockford, IL to the Richland County area with her husband, Joe, who grew up in the Richland County area in . They originally farmed in the Ash Creek area before buying a farm near Sabin, Wisconsin. Together they raised eight children who all graduated from Richland Center High School. Carol began her career with Wallace, Cooper & Elliott insurance in 1980 and is licensed in property and casualty, however, does handle most of the bookkeeping. Carol enjoys volunteering at the Food Pantry, sewing, and spending time with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Spencer Coffman is a published author of books that span a variety of topics that are all written with the sole intention of sharing information with those who wish to learn. He is also very involved on YouTube where he creates videos for several different channels. Some of his accomplishments include being an Eagle Scout, champion brick layer, and recognized by the President for his academic abilities. Spencer has 8 academic degrees and several certifications including a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Philosophy from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Spencer is new to the insurance industry and is licensed in property and casualty. He is motivated and has a strong desire to help others whenever and wherever he can. ​
